Officials at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln (UNL) have identified an undergraduate student they say is responsible for a recent intrusion into a university’s PeopleSoft Campus Solutions system containing personal information on more than 650,000 students, parents and employees.
Many of the sessions planned for this year’s Oracle OpenWorld conference are browseable on the above website. There are >100 sessions just on PeopleSoft alone.
Ed Catmull (co-founder of Pixar) and Larry Ellison share their memories of/and insight into the life and career of Steve Jobs. Steve and Larry were neighbours and met when Larry marched around to complain about Steve’s peacock! (12 mins)

Although it seems to still be six weeks from launch a new website has appeared proporting to be ‘the Enterprise App Store’. It appears to be a 3rd party venture – not created by Oracle – so we’ll be watching this one with interest.
